Basketball (Senior Boys)

HOOPS FOR HOPE The Sr. Men's Basketball team hosted the Hoops for Hope Tournament this past weekend raising funds for BGH Oncololgy.  The Leadership Class organized the tournament.  It was a 4 team tournament with Moira Secondary, QECVI from Kingston and St. Peter's from Peterborough.  In the tournament opener in front of a huge crowd of SAINTS Fans, the team broke through their nervousness to win the game. In their second game vs QECVI, a 3 point buzzer beater by Jack Whitley lead the team to another win. In their game against MSS, the SAINTS dominated. In the final game vs St. Peter's, the SAINTS were up by 22 points but gave up a few easy hoops to bring the lead down to 5.  The SAINTS worked hard defensivley and captured the tournament championship!  Good start SAINTS.
